Who am I and why do I have this blog?

Well, I'm a stay-at-home mom of 3 wonderful young children - Erin (4), Noah (2), and Luke (1). My husband and I make every effort to make nutritious home-cooked meals for them everyday.

As much as we can, we stay away from highly processed foods and eat REAL food. It's a constant effort - especially on a tight budget - but worth it to keep our children healthy while they are under our roof and then hopefully they'll be health-conscious adults.

I know there are a countless number of blogs and websites out there devoted to healthy eating, but I wanted to put my contribution out there and share how we eat as a family.

Most of what's on here are samples of our meals, with some other advice/tips added in.

I'm no food expert, but I am a mom. And moms gotta know something.
